Emma is doing great this week and is experiencing her first growth spurt! She’s definitely growing and feeding more often. She’s usually very alert when she’s awake (as you can see) and is really interested in the world around her. It’s exciting to observe her personality and tendencies now and consider what she will be like when she’s older. I know that we’re biased but she seems very smart!
Things are moving back to “normal” this week as I returned to work today. It’s good to be back at work but tough to leave Megan and Emma!

Megan, 1983
One of the amazing things about a newborn is seeing yourself in their features and mannerisms. Or, in my case, seeing my wife! If Megan and Emma were sisters, they could be twins. It’s remarkable!
As one of my clients said, “here’s hoping she turns out like MRS. HOLMEN!”
I just finished an e-mail birth announcement that I sent to my clients. We’ll be sending out a similar hard copy announcement soon!

I’m planning on launching a new e-mail birth announcement website in January 2009. Baby Tattle E-mail Birth Announcements
