Emma - 2 Months Old

Emma has been changing, changing, and changing some more! She is becoming more alert every day and interacts with us all of the time. Smiles abound in the Holmen house! She holds her head up for minutes at a time, watches you when you walk across the room, and coos happily. It’s a joy to hear her voice. We took a long trip to Missouri with Cedarcreek and Emma did great — she was very content throughout the trip.

Her hair took a vacation (to a warmer climate, no doubt) but has now started to return. It’s light brown and about 1/4″ long so far. Megan’s hair was reddish brown when she was young, so I’m curious to see if Emma has the same trait. She is such a beautiful little baby!

Emma has a new friend, too — our good friends Eric & Beth Crammond had a baby boy, Owen, on Christmas Eve. Congratulations to them!
