I was born and raised in Colfax, Wisconsin, just north of Eau Claire. I’ve always had a bend for problem solving and design, two pursuits that have a happy marriage in website design. I studied Physics, Math, and Art at UW-Eau Claire and was active in student organizations and academic research throughout my collegiate career.

On August 18^th, 2007, I married my beautiful wife, Megan. On November 4th, 2008, our beautiful daughter was born. We love being parents and I am so glad to be a dad.

I have a passion for photography and spent many hours in high school and college shooting and developing my techniques. I’ve been much less active lately, but I’m looking forward to picking up my camera more often and shooting again. Most of my favorite work, albeit old, is available at photos.benholmen.com.

My Faith

My life is defined by Jesus Christ. God is immeasurably great and the fact that he sacrificed so much just to have a relationship with me blows my mind. I am living my life striving to become more and more like Christ each day.
